Marvel Rivals Boldly Introduces its New Lady Loki Outfit
While some may call Marvel Rivals as an Overwatch clone, creator NetEase earns praise for finding innovative ways to appeal to its unabashedly thirsty audience. Introducing Lady Loki, a completely new costume for the existing Strategist hero Loki, providing players a comics-accurate depiction of the Asgardian deity.
A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela
Contrary to earlier predictions and fears, the highly anticipated Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Instead, it is a full-on visual overhaul of Loki himself, complete with fresh voiceover work. Judging by the reveal trailer, Lady Loki retains the full suite of Loki's signature abilities: Mystical Missile, his trickery skill, and Doppelgänger. The only change is her striking new look, designed to captivate an segment of fans eager to part with their in-game currency.
A Look and Sound in Action
Below is a glimpse at Lady Loki in action, accompanied by a taste of her new voiceover, courtesy of voice actor Abby Trott. Notably Trott is also the voice behind Magik in Marvel Rivals.

Opening the Door to Possibilities
With NetEase has opened the door with this gender-swapped skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is busy speculating about similar swaps. Popular ideas currently include:
- The character Gwenpool as the forthcoming Deadpool.
- Jane Foster as the God of Thunder.
- Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman.
The big question is: Will NetEase have the guts to introduce less mainstream variants, such as one-time Ms. Marvel Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably depend on fan demand!
When to Get the Skin
The Lady Loki skin will be available in Marvel Rivals from January 1, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST until January 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST.
