Charli XCX is preparing for a major film appearance in 2026, kicking off with the mockumentary titled The Moment.
In the film, she portrays what she refers to as a dark version of her own persona.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the entertainment world that I’ve ever seen, the star stated.
She elaborated in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept came from the expectation to produce one.
An Early Look into The Film
The first teaser, released on this week, mixes actual recordings from her recent tour with made-up off-stage interactions.
The Moment is helmed and co-scripted by Aidan Zamiri, who revealed that the story focuses on a reality where Charli opted for alternate decisions throughout the marketing of her chart-topping release Brat.
